InPaint 3.1

Inpaint reconstructs the selected image area from the pixel near the area boundary. Inpaint may be used to remove undesirable objects from still images. Delete any unwanted object from your photo, such as extra power-line, people, text... The program will automatically inpaint the selected area to erase it.

It is alarmingly simple to use. Draw a selection around the object you wish to remove from the picture, and run smart remove selection. Inpaint will fill the selection area with intelligently generated texture drawn from the surrounding image data.

see better tools for selecting, such as a 'lasso', 'outline fill' and some constraining tools for straight, circular object selection.

Hello... Thanks for this great, easy to use, and very useful program ! How about an option to have the right mouse button act the same as clicking the inpaint button from the toolbar... Thanks

Needs a mouse middle key to move the picture after Zooming in. Easier than side bars.

The Tutorial shows the insertion of Guide Lines but the actual tool doesn't appear or require these to be placed onto the image. Either I'm missing that bit of the program or the Tutorial needs updating, I think! It would also be good if the...

High an area to be cloned / copied into to the area that was just erased. i.e. You removed a tree & want to fill the area with a fence that ran behind the tree.

Thanks so much! Had prior inpaint from GAOTD, but lost it when HD crashed. It was a true loss! Really like the simplicity of operation.

Get RID of that annoying quality control menu after every single save that wastes time, or give option to set it only once for all work

Have a Lightroom plug-in for Win7 64 bit

For the person asking about mouse centering, a couple of programs that used to do that - don't anymore.
