the "Guide lines" bit of the tutorial needs to be updated

The Tutorial shows the insertion of Guide Lines but the actual tool doesn't appear or require these to be placed onto the image. Either I'm missing that bit of the program or the Tutorial needs updating, I think!

It would also be good if the red circle could get bigger for the removal of bigger objects.
